Institut Pasteur of Cambodia
The Institut Pasteur in Cambodia (IPC) is an institution of public utility engaged with the Royal Government of Cambodia by a convention and under the patronage of the Ministry of Health to meet the challenges of the future in the areas of scientific research, public health and education. It is a member of the Institut Pasteur International Network with which it develops ongoing collaborations. More than 165 people are working in IPC.
The activities of the IPC are oriented towards biomedical research and surveillance of infectious diseases, in partnership with international institutions and Cambodian national centers for infectious diseases and hospitals. Research developed at the IPC is based on diagnosis, biological characterization and molecular epidemiology of viruses (influenza, dengue, Chikungunya, HIV, rabies, EV71, avian influenza and other zoonotic pathogens …), bacteria (tuberculosis, salmonella, legionella, leptospirosis …) and malaria with particular emphasis on the identification and study of the mechanisms of resistance of these microorganisms to treatment.
IPC, in cooperation with universities and vocational schools in Cambodia, promotes knowledge on infectious diseases for the benefit of public health through education and training in universities and for continuing education in laboratories.
IPC benefits of high tech infrastructures (several BSL-2, BSL-3 with animal facility, mobile laboratory, Animal facility, Insectary…). A new building dedicated to research and training on infectious communicable diseases and emerging pathogens at regional level will be finalized early 2014.

វិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជាគឺជាស្ថាប័នមួយបម្រើប្រយោជន៍សារធារណៈ ដែលភ្ជាប់ទំនាក់ទំនងជាមួយរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជាដោយអនុសញ្ញានិងក្រោមការចាត់តាំងរបស់ក្រសួងសុខាភិបាលដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាប្រឈមនាពេលអនាគតក្នុងវិស័យស្រាវជ្រាវវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រ សុខភាពសាធារណៈ និងការអប់រំ។ វិទ្យាស្ថាននេះគឺជាសមាជិកនៃបណ្តាញវិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រអន្តរជាតិដែលរក្សាកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការរវាងគ្នាបន្តជាប់ជានិច្ច។ វិទ្យាស្ថាននេះមានបុគ្គលិកច្រើនជាង165 នាក់។
សកម្មភាពនៃវិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជាត្រូវបានតម្រង់ទិសទៅកាន់ការស្រាវជា្រវ ជីវវេជ្ជសាស្ត្រនិងការសិក្សាអង្កេតអំពីជំងឺឆ្លងដោយសហការជាដៃគូជាមួយស្ថាប័នអន្តរជាតិនិងមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលជាតិប្រឆាំងនឹងជំងឺឆ្លងនិងមន្ទីរពេទ្យកម្ពុជា។ ការស្រាវជ្រាវដែលរៀបចំឡើងនៅវិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជាគឺពឹងផ្អែកទៅលើការធ្វើរោគវិនិច្ឆ័យ ការកំណត់លក្ខណៈ ជីវសាស្ត្រ និងលក្ខណៈរាតត្បាតរបស់វីរុស (ផ្តាសាយ គ្រុនឈាម Chikungunya HIV ឆ្កែឆ្កួត EV71 ផ្តាសាយបក្សី និងភ្នាក់ងារបង្ករោគដែលឆ្លងពីសត្វផ្សេងៗទៀត។ល។) បាក់តេរី (របេង salmonella legionella leptospirosis។ល។) និងគ្រុនចាញ់ដោយសង្កត់ធ្ងន់ជាពិសេសទៅលើការកំណត់និងការសិក្សាអំពីចលនការដែលមីក្រូសារពាង្គកាយទាំងនេះដែលស៊ាំនឹងការព្យាបាល។
វិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជា ក្នុងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការជាមួយសកលវិទ្យាល័យនិងសាលាបណ្តុះបណ្តាលវិជ្ជាជីវៈក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា កំពុងលើកកម្ពស់ចំណេះដឹងអំពីជំងឺឆ្លងដើម្បីជាប្រយោជន៍នៃសុខភាពសាធារណៈតាមរយៈការអប់រំនិងការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលនៅតាមសកលវិទ្យាល័យនិងសម្រាប់ការអប់រំឥតឈប់ឈរនៅក្នុងមន្ទីរពិសោធន៍។
វិទ្យាស្ថានប៉ាស្ទ័រកម្ពុជាទទួលអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ពីហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធ ប្រកបដោយបច្ចេកវិទ្យាខ្ពស់ (BSL-2 មួយចំនួន BSL-3ដែលមានផ្នែកសម្រាប់សត្វ មន្ទីរពិសោធន៍ចល័ត ផ្នែកសម្រាប់សត្វល្អិត។ល។) អាគារថ្មីមួយខ្នងសម្រាប់បម្រើការងារស្រាវជ្រាវនិងបណ្តុះបណ្តាលស្តីអំពីជំងឺឆ្លងនិងភ្នាក់ងារបង្ករោគថ្មីៗនៅកម្រិតតំបន់នឹងត្រូវបានសាងសង់រួចរាល់ជាស្ថាពរនៅដើមឆ្នាំ 2014។
