The Ministry of Health with the support from WHO organizes a National Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) Conference scheduled for 29 and 30 May. The focus of this conference has shifted to include dissemination of the AMR documents.
The objectives of the conference are:

To present and discuss the policy and 5-‐year strategic plan to combat AMR.

To raise awareness of AMR among high-‐level government officials,decision-‐makers,donors,and health partners.

To advocate for education of the public and health professionals on AMR.

To share experiences with other countries in Greater Mekong Sub-‐Region.
